Fundació La Nineta del Ulls
Let’s boost research and awareness about retinoblastoma, the most common eye tumor in children under 6, to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
"When we say "the apple of my eye" (little girl or “nineta” in Catalan) we are referring to a person we love, to someone we are deeply fond of. Usually, children awaken a very special feeling in us; they are the apple of our eye. In the case of our foundation, the "nineta" (meaning "little girl" or "pupil" in Catalan) wants to be a window from which to explore retinoblastoma, a disease that some children go through that can be identified, among other things, by the presence of abnormalities in the pupil of the eyes."
