Modification of the paediatric check-up protocol
The aim is to increase the frequency of paediatric ophthalmological check-ups in order to achieve an early diagnosis of retinoblastoma and other retinoblastomas, to achieve an early diagnosis of retinoblastoma and other eye diseases with similar diseases of the eye that present similar symptoms.
How did it happen?
- By a proposal of the Fundació La Nineta dels Ulls, elaborated and agreed with the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, the Hospital Vall d'Hebron and the Societat Catalana de Pediatria. The proposal was unanimously approved by the Parliament of Catalonia.
