On 25 September, Fundació La Nineta dels Ulls held a new working meeting with Karkinaki (Greece), a partner organisation in the Erasmus+ project Superhero School: Imagining an Inclusive and Digital Education System Adapted to Students with Cancer, led by our Foundation.
The meeting focused on analysing the results of the survey conducted among families, an initiative designed to provide first-hand insight into their experiences, needs and challenges regarding the education of children and adolescents with cancer.
During the meeting, we worked together on how to integrate the survey findings into the development of the project, as well as how to analyse and disseminate the results. Listening to families is essential to developing resources and educational approaches that respond to real needs and help support educational continuity and the return to school following a cancer diagnosis.
This new meeting with Karkinaki represents another step towards one of the main goals of Superhero School: contributing to a more inclusive, digital education system adapted to the needs of students with cancer.
Together with our European partners, we continue working to ensure that the experiences and voices of families remain an essential part of the project.
