La Nineta dels Ulls Foundation had the privilege of participating as a speaker in the “Automation and Humanization in Ophthalmology Day”, held at Vall d’Hebron Hospital.
During the session, we were able to give patients a voice and discuss their concerns regarding automation in healthcare. We also explored how new technologies can be integrated in a more human, empathetic, and understandable way, keeping the patient at the center of innovation.
It was a highly enriching day, where patients and professionals co-created a joint document to show how these digital tools are being implemented in the ophthalmology department of the hospital. A major step forward to ensure that technological progress is accompanied by a more human and patient-centered approach.
Thanks to all the professionals at Vall d’Hebron for making it possible and demonstrating that humanizing technology is also innovation.
