The La Nineta dels Ulls Foundation has been selected by the European Union to coordinate an innovative new European project: “Superhero School: Imagining an inclusive and digital education system adapted to students with cancer.” This initiative aims to develop digital tools and resources that provide more inclusive education, tailored to the specific needs of children and young people diagnosed with cancer.
The project will involve new international partners: PAX School in Tarragona (Spain), Leonteios School in Athens (Greece), and the organization KARKINAKI, also in Athens. The Foundation will continue collaborating with Smallcodes (Florence, Italy) and RedTree (Valencia, Spain), strengthening a European network committed to educational innovation and support for students with special needs.
Through this initiative, the Foundation reinforces its commitment to inclusive education, digital learning, and creating resources that help children with cancer continue their academic development without barriers.
