The European Superhero School Project Continues to Move Forward with New International Meetings (30/07/2026)

This July, we continued making progress on the European project Superhero School: Imagining an Inclusive and Digital Education System Adapted to Students with Cancer, coordinated by Fundació La Nineta dels Ulls under the Erasmus+ programme.

On 15 July, we held a working meeting with Karkinaki (Greece), one of the project’s partner organisations. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress achieved since the last transnational meeting in Athens and to coordinate the next activities planned for the coming months. It also strengthened collaboration among partners as we continue developing strategies to promote a more inclusive educational environment for children and adolescents with cancer.

Later, on 29 July, we met with Smallcodes (Italy), another project partner. During the meeting, Smallcodes presented the latest update of the Superhero School website, featuring a more intuitive navigation, a clearer structure and a more user-friendly visual design. This represents another important milestone as we move closer to the public launch of the platform, which will become a valuable resource for schools, families and professionals.

These meetings are part of the project’s ongoing international coordination, ensuring steady progress in the development of innovative educational resources aimed at creating a more digital, inclusive and adaptable education system for children and young people with cancer.

Together with our European partners, we remain committed to building a school environment that is more accessible, supportive and better prepared to accompany students throughout their treatment and their return to the classroom.
