Fundació La Nineta dels Ulls Continues Making Progress in the Erasmus+ “Superhero School” Project (28/05/2026)

On May 27 and 28, several working meetings took place as part of the Erasmus+ project led by Fundació La Nineta dels Ulls: “Superhero School: Imagining an Inclusive and Digital Educational System Adapted to Students with Cancer”.

During these meetings, the Foundation continued collaborating with partner organisations Smallcodes, RedTree and Karkinaki to further develop different tools and materials within the project.

Together with Smallcodes and RedTree, work continued on the project website and the Superhero Schools Platform, an online tool designed to support schools in creating personalised action plans to promote the inclusion of students with cancer.

Together with Karkinaki, the team continued developing the Superhero Schools Guide, which will include strategies and protocols to prevent, detect, intervene and monitor possible exclusion processes affecting students with cancer in educational settings.

On May 28, a virtual meeting also took place with the two schools participating in the project: Escola PAX (Tarragona, Spain) and Leonteios Sxoli (Athens, Greece). During the meeting, participants shared progress updates and planned the next steps of the project, especially the upcoming transnational meeting with all project partners, which will take place this June in Athens.

These meetings were highly productive and represent another important step towards building a more inclusive, accessible and adaptable educational system for children and adolescents with cancer.
