Superhero School: Imagining an inclusive and digital education system adapted to students with cancer

Creation of an innovative system for prevention, detection, intervention and monitoring to achieve inclusion, educational success and recovery for students with cancer.

Children who use prosthetics due to cancer or accidents face a particularly delicate moment when they return to school. Far from being solely a period of recovery and reunion, in many cases they encounter looks of incomprehension, fear and social barriers that hinder their well-being, inclusion and educational development.

This project was created to transform that reality. We promote an innovative comprehensive system of prevention, detection, intervention and monitoring that places the well-being of students at the centre and promotes their inclusion, educational success and recovery process. Through a cross-cutting strategy, the project promotes action programmes in educational centres that cover all areas, with personalised itineraries and specific resources, supported by an intelligent digital platform.

In addition, an innovative proposal has been developed to foster a positive, empathetic and committed attitude among students towards cancer and diversity: the SUPERHERO STRATEGY, an initiative that promotes values of respect, support and coexistence, making school a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
