This week, the Foundation travelled to Virgen de la Macarena Hospital in Seville to deliver the Nixi Kits, an innovative resource designed to support paediatric patients diagnosed with retinoblastoma.
We are deeply grateful to the entire hospital team for their warm welcome and collaboration. We are confident that Nixi will be an important tool to help children better understand their diagnosis and feel more supported throughout their treatment process.
Thanks to the Fundación La Nineta dels Ulls for providing these Nixi Kits — an adapted therapeutic plush specifically created for children with retinoblastoma.
The kits also include an activity book to help children learn about the disease in an accessible, age-appropriate way.
Families can additionally access six informative videos through the Foundation’s website, offering clear and reliable information about retinoblastoma. The aim is to improve the hospital experience of both patients and their families.
