During the patient, family, and expert meeting in Prades, the European Digital Camps multiplier event promoted digital inclusion for young people with retinoblastoma.

During the patient, family, and expert meeting on retinoblastoma held in Prades from October 17 to 19, 2025, the multiplier event of the project “EUROPEAN DIGITAL CAMPS FOR THE INCLUSION OF YOUTH WITH RETINOBLASTOMA” took place. The event brought together 48 adult participants —including multiplier agents, professionals, patients, and family members— and 26 young people and children.

The main objective of the event was to present the project partner network and the results achieved so far, fostering knowledge exchange and best practices to promote digital inclusion for young people with retinoblastoma. During the meeting, the Project Guide, the pilot tests, and the FUNCAMP platform were shared. FUNCAMP, first tested at the 2024 meeting, allows the creation of inclusive digital camps tailored to the needs of young participants.

The event also provided a space for learning and collaboration, where professionals, patients, and families could exchange experiences, propose new ideas, and reflect on the opportunities technology offers to enhance inclusion and participation of young people with retinoblastoma. This initiative underscores the project’s commitment to digital inclusion and active youth participation, developing practical and accessible tools that facilitate connection and learning in safe digital environments.
