“Superheroes of the Future: Imagining an Inclusive World” is this year’s theme
This November, the La Nineta dels Ulls Foundation is celebrating the 5th edition of the Superheroines and Superheroes Day, an inspiring event that combines play, values, and solidarity to promote inclusion and respect for diversity among children.
Under the theme “Superheroes of the Future: Imagining an Inclusive World”, the event invites boys and girls to discover their own superpowers to help make the world a better place. Through stories, games, and creative activities, participants will explore key values such as empathy, cooperation, respect, and teamwork.
During the day, children will symbolically travel to the City of Harmony, a magical place where everyone is welcome and appreciated for who they are. Here, they will learn that our differences make us stronger, and that every small gesture counts toward building a more inclusive future.
The initiative reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to social inclusion, awareness, and support for children with serious eye diseases, especially those affected by retinoblastoma. In addition to promoting solidarity, the day offers families a space for connection and reflection on the importance of teaching values from an early age.
