Fundaci\u00f3 La Nineta dels Ulls presents new accessories for the \u201cNixi and Retinoblastoma\u201d<\/strong> plush toy, a project created to support children with retinoblastoma throughout their medical journey.<\/p>\n One year ago, this initiative was launched with the aim of providing an emotional support tool for children facing diagnoses, treatments, or surgical procedures related to retinoblastoma. The Nixi plush has become a therapeutic resource that helps explain, understand, and normalise what many children experience during their treatment process.<\/p>\n \u201cNixi and Retinoblastoma\u201d was born from a real need identified by Fundaci\u00f3 La Nineta dels Ulls<\/span><\/span>, which also proposed adding these new accessories to the plush toy: pieces that simulate ocular prostheses.<\/p>\n Thanks to a simple system using velcro and stickers, children can play at placing a prosthesis on their plush toy.
